Decommissioning has been a hot topic for some time, however now that it has literally arrived on our shores with the removal of the Brent Delta platform by the Pioneering Spirit, is it time to have a better understanding of where the removal of topsides fit within the complex decommissioning process? Not forgetting the planning and work which will be required to decommission the 4,300 wells in the UKCS alone! Our training courses aim to provide participants with a broad introduction to all aspects of decommissioning from initial planning through to execution, plus the opportunity to learn more about the detailed principles and practices of well decommissioning.
There is a responsibility not only to execute decommissioning best practice for the safe and efficient extraction of assets from the seabed to the surface, but to do this in the most cost effective way possible. Training includes the very latest UK Guidelines and legislation, as well as example case studies of major decommissioning projects – delivered by facilitators who have unrivalled expertise and experience in the decommissioning industry.
