Not all doom and gloom...

This month, we wanted to bring you some good news...and it comes in the shape of successfully delivering a second batch of open training courses in Nairobi as well as an in-house client course in a new location, Cambodia, to add to our 70 + country roster!

Given our focus on East Africa, and our passion for building commercial capacity in oil and gas, we are delighted to announce a second successful delivery of Exploration & Production Accounting Levels 1 & 2.  Staff trainer Keith Brown had participants from Dodsal Hydrocarbons & Power, the Ministry of Finance and BG Kenya and received very positive feedback; here is a selection of testimonials:

"I am happy that the training I have attended has helped me to understand the accounting policies procedure as well as allocation reporting and analysis of well costs in the E&P industry." Sulay Kumar Bhatt

"The course is relevant to any oil and gas professional who wants to expand their knowledge of the oil and gas industry. A very experienced trainer, who understands the industry well and responds to questions with much depth." Daniel Musaya

"The course has been so wonderful to the extent that I will look out for other levels to attend, so that I can gain more knowledge in E&P Accounting." Serwanja Kassim

To continue our focus on East Africa, we will be back in Tanzania this November with a selection of our core competencies and we look forward to welcoming as many discussions as possible about long term training requirements.

As for Cambodia, always fantastic to deliver training in a new location, to new participants and receive positive feedback. This time staff trainer Robert Hockley delivered Auditing in the Exploration & Production Industry to 16 participants to some very positive feedback; here is a selection of testimonials:

"This course is very important to myself and my country for upcoming oil and gas production in 2017." Chhet Channimith

"I learned a lot of new things which will be useful for my future work.  Roberts experience added more insight to the subject.  I appreciate his examples and exercises." Chhaly Samsokrith

"I now understand about production sharing contracts and joint ventures. Frame sheet is a good indicator to evaluate staff performance." Ly Senlong

In light of all our good feedback and with an aim to keep the conversation going after class has finished, we welcome all of our participants to join our LinkedIn Alumni Group and become a member.  Otherwise you can catch us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter!
