MDT International Gains Official Approval in Oman

Published on 25.08.2015

We are delighted to confirm that MDT International has now secured official approval for our activities in Oman. Our in country partner Ajyal HR Solutions & Services based in Muscat has been working closely with us to ensure 'real added value' for our clients in the region.

Over the last two decades MDT International has been delivering highly quality commercial and financial training to our Oil Industry clients across the Middle East region. Earlier this year we invested further in the region recognising the need for localisation of skills and knowledge transfer to the local workforce. To do this we entered into a formal partnership with an Omani HR Services company Ajyal . Ajyal has an enviable reputation in their specialist fields of talent sourcing, HR training and consultancy.

Today's most valuable business partnerships are built around creating ‘great user experiences', not just exchanging value between companies. Being a ‘one stop shop' for multiple training disciplines is not enough to show real partnership value.

Taking this a step further MDT International and Ajyal have created a blue print for success in terms of what true partnership means both between us and most importantly, partnership with our clients.

  1. Keep it real - Any partnership needs to start with a commercial, practical and emotional need. There's no point holding hands with someone who can't add ‘real' value to your business. Ajyal and MDT have been working hard to fine tune this ‘real value add' for all our clients in the region.
  2. What's the ‘meaningful uniqueness'? - Everyone over uses the word ‘unique' but what does the MDT/Ajyal partnership really give your business that no-one else has? Ajyal's local expertise in candidate selection, psychometric testing and competence/skills gap analysis has aligned perfectly with MDT's international Oil & Gas industry experience to give a truly unique approach to commercial capacity building for the Omani workforce.
  3. What does our partnership mean to our clients? - It's all about increased ‘user experience'. The net effect of our partnership has given us the ability to provide our clients with cost effective skills and competency services from initial candidate selection and evaluation through to in-depth commercial career development, training and competence improvement. This gives us a deep understanding of our clients' needs before during and after any training takes place.
  4. Measurement of success - How do we know the partnership is working or indeed not working? KPI's, service level agreements and activity analysis are only one side of the coin, the true measure of success is what our clients are telling us.
