Our recent news story, posted in July, detailed plans to add an additional course to our schedule. This has once again highlighted MDT International’s flexibility in working with clients to provide tailored training courses in locations where there is a demand and a need to increase individual’s knowledge and skills. Despite the ongoing difficulties being faced by the oil and gas industry the importance of developing the capability of those employed, either directly or indirectly, by the industry has become even more vital. During our recent collaboration with Akintola Williams Deloitte we were able to schedule a 3 day version of our popular Exploration & Production Accounting Level 2 course in Lagos and were delighted to welcome along participants from a number of local E&P companies.
Our training consultant, Matilde Giulianelli, travelled to Nigeria in September and delivered our standard 5-day course on an In House basis as well as the customised 3-day Open Course. Both groups thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and we were delighted to read their feedback. Here is a small selection of the comments received:
“This represents one of the very few, well delivered, training courses that I have participated in recently. It was more detailed and practical with a calm, well experienced trainer."
”The course is specific to my industry and how we work, it gave the in-depth knowledge I expected from this training.”
“The course was wonderful; it really exposed me to the dynamics of the oil and gas industry as it relates to accounting.”
“The budgeting and performance management and PSC section made most impact for me. The training material was concise, spot on and practical.”
"The course was exemplary and has really impacted significantly on my knowledge base of the oil and gas activities and other related accounting issues and concerns."
We must thank all those at AWD who helped to co-ordinate arrangements and worked with MDT to make it happen – a fantastic team effort all round!
