Half Full or Half Empty – you decide. 1 year ago, we closed out the equivalent end of year post with the half full glasses on … stating we were optimistic that, at some point during 2021, we’d return to face-to-face training. And we did ...... all be it a single 3-day course delivered during November in Nouakchott, Mauritania. It was our first ‘in-person’ courses since mid-March 2020 and it went like a dream!
The focus continued to be on our live online courses. We expanded our portfolio of online course titles, and successfully got more of our trainers up to speed with the online delivery format.
In terms of Online training hours, we delivered 40% more during 2021.
As always, we have fully lived up to the ‘International’ part of our company name. Our courses have attracted participants based in: Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, England, Gabon, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kurdistan, Malaysia, Mauritania, Netherlands, Nigeria, Scotland, Senegal, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Uganda and United Arab Emirates. Not forgetting our trainers and staff who delivered/supported from Ireland, Finland, Italy … and saving the best till last … Bonnie Scotland!
When crunching the performance stats, it’s our clients and course participants feedback that is most important. Why? Happy clients and participants want to come back again … and/or recommend MDT to others. Once again, +90% of our attendees said that their MDT International training courses had either fully met or exceeded their expectations.
Our sincere thanks to our clients and course participants for continuing to allow MDT to play a meaningful role in that never ending learning and development journey. You are our inspiration … and hopefully, our courses help to inspire you!
Despite the more challenging pandemic related trading conditions, we continue to support our preferred charity partner – the magnificent Gathimba Edwards Foundation (GEF). We look forward to raising a few dollars for GEF in 2022 … which will mark our 8th consecutive year of collaboration.
In closing out 2021, to all our many friends around the world, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!
PS – and we’re not letting Omicron … or whatever the next variant will be to dampen our enthusiasm … as normal, we march forward in to the New Year with our half full MDT glasses firmly on!
