When you start an end of year summary by stating that we delivered 67 Courses during 2019 it sounds … well … a bit dull! So .. let’s flush out a few more details, add a wee collage and transform those tepid 67 courses into the dynamic, inspiring and crackling hot year that’s it’s been for MDT International.
So … 67 courses, delivered by 8 different trainers covering 13 separate course titles and attracting almost 600 participants – from every corner of the world and representing close to 100 companies/organisation’s – from the biggest to the smallest and everything in between! And speaking of Geography, our courses took place from Aberdeen to Atyrau, Bahrain to Brunei, Edinburgh to Erbil, Kampala to Kuala Lumpur and from Lagos to London via Luanda. Not forgetting the less alliterative but equally superb training locations of: Dubai, Muscat, Prague, Stavanger and Vienna!
And now for the kicker … it’s all well and good delivering those 67 courses here, there and everywhere … but just what did the 600 participants have to say about their MDT training experience. 93% told us that their course either fully met or exceeded their expectations; 95% said that their training needs had been either fully met or exceeded, and, saving the best till last, take a bow MDT Trainers – 99% rated you as excellent … and, at least that leaves a little room for improvement next year!
We also managed to fit in time for a Brand Refresh and Website relaunch and not forgetting our unswerving support of our charity of choice – the fabulous Gathimba Edwards Foundation. On a personal level, sincere thanks to those who supported my annual fundraising efforts. 2019 was my 7th consecutive Scottish Half Marathon. MDT’s relationship with GEF started back in 2015 and including the sensational £2,380 raised this year, thanks to the support of so many generous people / companies, my ever slower bumbles round the streets of Glasgow have raised over £10,000 for GEF since 2015.
Time to put the feet up and enjoy a festive mince pie or two. But already looking forward to doing it all again next year and, maybe, just maybe … our trainers will find that missing 1%.
In closing out 2019, thank you for the continued support from all our clients, suppliers and friends around the world. We wish you a very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!
