Managers will improve their team working, communication and coordination skills through combining their team learning with working on an actual management team project e.g. business planning, development of a new strategy etc . By the end of this programme you will be able to:


• Describe your individual management and management team working styles
• Identify your potential team strengths and opportunities for development.
• ‘Balance’ your management team for increased effectiveness in leading and managing organisational change
• Develop a Management Team Charter and assign individual responsibilities so that the team can successfully coordinate their efforts within the organisation
• Present your Management Team Charter and respond to questions about its implementation
• Learn how to use Team Working tools to improve creativity, problem solving, and the quality of decision-making

International management teams who want to develop their team-working skills and be more effective in achieving their business goals.


Management Team Interviews
The MDT International consultant will meet with Management Team members to discuss their specific needs and distribute a Team Management Systems (TMS) questionnaire to gather information on individual team working styles. MDT will then
generate individual team working profiles and return them to managers in preparation for the team development workshop. The profiles generated will be delivered personally to managers and be treated as ‘confidential’.


Management Team Development Workshop
The team development workshop will enable you to:
Assess your individual team-working styles using information gained from the team working profiles
‘Balance’ your team for improved effectiveness and achievement of your work goals
Develop a plan to improve coordination, teamworking and communication within the team and with company stakeholders
Develop a Management Team Charter that enables the team to work together more
successfully
Present and respond to questions on the Management Team Charter
Apply appropriate business improvement tools e.g. Force Field Assessment, Decision Grid, Flowcharting etc to enhance team working, decision-making, problem solving and action planning.

This programme is designed to improve the way international management teams work together and coordinate their efforts. All members of the management team should attend the workshop in order to maximize the benefits of the programme.
