Delegates
will improve their team working, communication and coordination
skills through combining the team learning with working on actual
team assignments. By the end of this programme delegates will be
able to:
- Describe
their individual team working preferences and styles
- Identify
their potential team strengths and opportunities for development.
- 'Balance'
their team for improved effectiveness on a project or work assignments
- Develop
a Team Charter and assign individual responsibilities so that
the team can successfully coordinate their efforts.
- Present
their Team Charter and respond to questions about its implementation
- Learn
how to use team working tools including brainstorming, multi-voting,
flowcharting, decision grids, and Force Field assessment.
- Apply
team problem-solving, decision-making and action planning skills

International and/or multi-cultural teams
who want to develop their team-working skills to achieve the desired results.

Team Diagnosis
The MDT consultant will meet with the team leader(s) to discuss their
specific needs and distribute a questionnaire to team members in order
to gather information on their individual team working styles. MDT will
then generate individual team working reports and return them to delegates
in preparation for the team training workshop.
Team Training Workshop
The team training workshop will enable delegates to:
• Assess
their individual team-working styles using information gained from the
team working questionnaire
• Learn
how to 'balance' their team for improved effectiveness and achievement
of their work goals
• Develop
a plan to improve communication, coordination and team-working within
the team
• Develop
a Team Charter that enables the team to work together more productively
• Present
and respond to questions on the Team Charter
• Apply
appropriate team tools e.g. Force Field assessment, decision grid, flowcharting
etc to enhance team working, team decision-making, problem solving and
action planning.
Team Follow-up
Following the team training the MDT consultant will: ·
• Hold
individual follow-up meetings with manager(s) and/or team leader(s) to
assess progress and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct
learning review meetings with team(s) to identify lessons learned and
plan for the future.
