The award of this diploma is recognition of your ability to:
  • understand relationships between operational processes and E&P accounting transactions
  • prepare, analyse and interpret E&P financial information
  • develop and implement systems for effective financial control of E&P business processes
  • effectively communicate E&P information, findings, recommendations and conclusions

Participants will be assessed by demonstrating their understanding of each subject by satisfacorily completing class assignments. These may consist of a combination of team and individual exercises, contributions to class discussions/debate, presentations, role plays and reports.

This diploma is aimed at the following individuals:

  • finance and accounting staff who are new to the E&P industry and who are being developed fopr future positions with their organisation
  • finance and accounting staff with some years oil/gas experience and who wish to consolidate this by achieving a recognised award

You must satisfactorily complete study of the following core subjects which amount to 20 study credits.

E&P Accounting - Level 1 - Three Credits

E&P Accounting - Level 2 - Five Credits

E&P Accounting - Level 3 - Five Credits

Auditing in the E&P Industry - Five Credits

You must satisfactorily complete study of subjects form the following list amounting to no less than 5 study credits. The subjects you choose may be influenced by a variety of factors including your intended carrer path and/or particular interest in the subject.
